100 years later, one of the last remaining buildings from the original Sully's Hotel could not be saved. It was too damaged and potentially dangerous- squatters have occasionally stayed there. The county said, "Get rid of it." Fireman Ron and the Monte Rio Volunteer Fire Department burned it to the ground.
